My new boss?

I have had a number of bosses through the years and I have found that the vast majority of them are incapable of conscious thought. In many ways they are just like small babies. It's because they have grown accustomed to the fact that when they scream, people serve them, right up to the point of wiping their bottom, with one thing or another. Because of that essential regression they tend to make very simple connections. The more successful they are in management the more oblivious they will be in situations such as the case you have cited. Rather than being appalled at your boss' bad taste in clothes, ponder for a moment just how fully he has embraced and achieved the blissful heights of management. Watch him closely, he clearly knows something you do not. You still think it matters what you wear, when all that really matters is a complete disregard for other life forms. There is no method to his madness, there is just the overwhelming faith that no matter what he does someone will find it cute and eventually feed him. He didn't pick that suit in order to taunt anyone, he picked that suit because when he woke up this morning he thought, "Hmm, I have Banana Growers today don't I?" and with no further ado he chose the most obvious, yet most inappropriate, item from his closet for no other reason than that he is a moron. He can't help it, in fact he has received a lot of support for it through the years. If you watch him carefully, and strive to lose all sense of empathy, you may find yourself in his position one day, right after they ditch anyone with a pension. Then it will be your turn to hone those skills..
