Should I put a supercharger in a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria?

I'm looking at buying a 2004 Crown Victoria (with police pkg). It has a 4.6L V8, RWD. I'm thinking about possibly putting a supercharger in it (I'm thinking a super would be better than a turbo in this car). Any recommendations? Type, Brand, switch to turbo, don't do it, something else? Oh, and it puts out 224hp and 272ft-lb of torque, both @4000 RPM.
